The Flower Station
How does U-Pick work?
When you arrive, park in the designated Flower Parking area and head to The Flower Station. We provide clippers, buckets, and simple instructions so you can stroll the rows, pick your favorite blooms, and create your own bouquet. It’s a relaxed, self-serve flower field experience.
There is no general admission fee. You simply pay for the flowers you pick based on the container size you select at the start of your experience. Early morning or evening is the best times of day to pick flowers.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself and a love for flowers. We provide cutting tools, containers, and bouquet supplies. If you'd like, you’re welcome to bring your own vase or jar to fill.
Where are you located?
We are located at 37 EAST Pearl Street, Westfield, New York. Please note there is also a 37 Pearl Street nearby, so be sure to use 37 EAST Pearl Street in your GPS.
Is parking available?
Yes. Parking is available right on-site in our designated Flower Parking area next to the field.
What flowers do you grow?
We grow a changing variety of seasonal flowers throughout the summer and fall. Depending on the season, you may find sunflowers, zinnias, snapdragons, celosia, gomphrena, fillers, and many more beautiful blooms. Like all flower farms, bloom timing changes with weather and the season.
Are flowers available all season?
Some flowers bloom for much of the season, while others shine during shorter windows. Every visit can look a little different, which is part of the fun.
Are children allowed?
Absolutely! Families are welcome. We simply ask that children stay with adults and respect the flowers and field while visiting. Our rows are wide and grass-covered. While ground conditions vary, most sturdy or all-terrain strollers navigate the field quite well.
Are pets allowed?
For the comfort of guests and protection of the flowers, we kindly ask that pets stay home. Registered service animals are, of course, always welcome.
Can I take photos?
Yes! We love seeing your flower field photos. Feel free to take casual pictures during your visit and tag The Flower Station on social media. Photographers please visit Professional Photography section.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or Venmo. As a self-serve flower field, no one is on-site to provide change, so if paying with cash, please bring exact change.
When are you open?
Our hours are seasonal and may change based on weather and flower availability. No appointment is needed during normal open hours. Just stop by and enjoy the field. Please check our Facebook page for the latest updates before visiting.
We stay open during light rain. For safety during heavy storms or lightning, we may temporarily close. We recommend checking our social media for real-time weather updates.
What should I wear?
Comfortable shoes are best. You’ll be walking through a flower field, so dress for the weather and the season.
